Subscription for institutions outside the UK
Subscribing universities benefit from access to resources, networks and support that improves the student academic experience, such as HEA Fellowships or HEA accreditation of an institution’s professional development provision. Subscribing partners also receive discounts on training and events, consultancy and student surveys.
“Becoming a subscribing partner of the HEA has had a massive impact. We’re now a university that’s renowned for its teaching excellence. QUT has excelled in the number of Australian Awards for University Teaching received.”

Whether you are a senior institutional leader, a manager of learning and teaching or a teacher/lecturer, the Higher Education Academy can support you.
Accreditation of professional development programmes
Accreditation reflects achievement and commitment in learning and teaching and is a sign of quality for students, teachers and support staff. Accreditation provides you with the authority to award HEA Fellowship to staff in recognition of their continuing success in teaching and supporting learning.
Professional Development and Training Programmes
The HEA has a track record of developing and delivering programmes to diverse learning communities. Programmes are offered at a course, school, faculty or institutional level and can be tailored to reflect a particular discipline or challenging area.
All training and development is linked to the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) and supports those aiming for a global recognition of HEA Fellowship.
Within any university or college there will be a number of areas that could be enhanced. Our range of enhancement services allow the HEA to offer a bespoke consultancy service to support improvements in the student learning experience across the world.
Networks, Communities and Resources
The HEA has created expert groups, networks and communities of practice for subscribers and HEA Fellows. These groups bring together expertise from across the sector to develop and support practice, showcase and drive innovation, and address sector challenges through collaboration.
HEA Student Surveys
HEA student surveys provide valuable benchmarked insight into how your students’ academic experience compares with that of others, allowing you to identify opportunities to target or accelerate change, to enable students to get the most from their studies.
